Randy Roberts and the Unpredictable Racing Team

Randy Robert's Unpredictable Pro Mud Racing Team is based in Richton Mississippi. Before Randy hooked up with Ed Wilson of Ed-Vanced Engines, Randy was already one of the top competitors in his class. Randy's engine Nitrous system was spraying 600hp but he was have problems ruining one or two pistons every few passes.

Ed Wilson of Ed-Vanced Engines worked with BRC Performance to custom design a set of Nitrous pistons for Randy. Randy's engine Nitrous system now sprays 700hp and Randy is setting new track records with no engine problems.

Randy's final 2007 engine combination included: 434 CI, BRC Pistons, 4.155 bore, 4.000 stroke, 12.5:1 compression ratio, Dart Iron Eagle block, Dart Pro 1 230 CNC heads (with all titanium valves and shaft rockers), Dart 4500 intake, Dominator 1150 hp, cam is in the mid 700 lift area, rpm's usually around 8,500 but over 9,000 on many occasions.

For the 2008 racing season, Randy and Ed have decided: to keep the same block, crank, and rods, but increase the bore to 4.165 with a 12.5:1 compression ratio using BRC pistons, use a Brodix-12 15 degree heads (with titanium valves and shaft rockers), and the cam will be an EE&P designed custom grind over 900 lift.
